Dear music lover;

Do you want to make your campfire singing even more memorable and fun? Then add to your collection of campfire songs by purchasing the mandolin tab version of the Great American Campfire Songbook. You may want to sing some of the songs in the book that you are not familiar with.  You need to hear the melody to know how it goes. You have a couple of options:

• Someone in the group needs to be able to read music so they can sing it for you, or
• Someone needs to be able to read tablature for guitar, banjo, or mandolin so they can play the melody for you. For many mandolin players, mandolin tablature is the easiest and fastest way to learn a song. 

If you wanted to go for an all out performance you could add bass, piano, and drums. OK, you might have a tough time getting a piano to the campsite. But if you have a singalong in a church or school, you can probably find a piano. If you choose to do that, find a piano player that can play chord style piano. 

There are all kinds of possibilities available to help you have a good time singing these fun songs. It takes a little more organizing, but it is well worth it.

Another thing you should know; all the tabs in my book were written using Sibelius software. Most tabs you see on the internet don't have the rhythms written in, so you have to guess what the rhythms are, or listen and figure it out on your own.  My tabs have most of the rhythms written in, so there is no guessing.
